The Commonwealth Youth Programme has been the Commonwealth Secretariat’s hub for youth development since 1973. Its core concern is Youth Empowerment. It works through four regional offices based in Africa, Guyana, India and Solomon Islands and focuses on engaging, and empowering, young people in order to enhance their contribution to society.
