To welcome Mr Akbar Khan, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) on a visit in May 2018, the following song was written by the students at St Aloysius Primary School in Jamaica.
Their Commonwealth song is about peace & democracy and they performed it at the first CPA Roadshow for young people in Jamaica, which was attended by CPA Secretary-General Mr Akbar Khan and the Jamaican Hon Minister of Culture Mr Alando N. Terrelonge MP.
Hon Minister Terrelonge is “driven by the belief that real power rests with the people. Together we can make a difference and build a better Jamaica”.
